OVERVIEW
In just two days, go from installation to a complete, working application on the Unitronics UniStream platform. This is a hands-on course in UniLogic — the software behind UniStream PLCs — built around real labs on real hardware, not slides. You'll configure I/O, build ladder logic and HMI screens, and set up the timers, alarms, and analog control that drive actual machines. Whether you're new to Unitronics or sharpening existing skills, you'll leave able to program UniStream with confidence and put it to work the next day.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Engineers, technicians, and machine builders who are new to Unitronics or want to strengthen their UniStream skills. No prior Unitronics experience is required — even if you have never programmed a PLC before, you will be comfortable working in UniLogic by the end of the course.
COURSE ITINERARY
Day 1
- UniLogic installation
- UniStream hardware: exploring I/O configurations and HMI options
- Basic ladder and HMI editing (with lab)
- Timers and counters (with lab)
- Hands-on mini project
- Open Q&A
Day 2
- Analog I/O (with lab)
- Alarms (with lab)
- Temperature control, trends, and data tables (with lab)
- Introduction to industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, IO-Link)
- Open Q&A
Attendance is expected both days, as each day builds on the material from the day before.

Take the hardware home. The training kit is a fully-featured 5" UniStream HMI+PLC (model US5-B10-TA30) that is yours to keep — so you can keep building on your own after class. Prefer not to purchase a kit? Loaner equipment is available on request.

What do I need to bring?
A Windows PC with an Ethernet port. Please review the minimum operating system requirements for UniLogic before attending.
Can I bring my own PLC?
Yes. If you are not purchasing a PLC through AMPS or using our loaner equipment, please send your PLC model information to AMPS ahead of the class.
